It might be caused by conflict between the executable of Animal Melody and certain Windows System files, please kindly download patch file for AnimMelody.exe and replace the orginial installed AnimMelody.exe. (AnimMelody.exe is installed in "c:\Program Files\AnimMelody\" by default.)

The game is set to auto start when the disc is inserted. However, if the Auto-run option is disabled in your Windows, you can double-click Start.exe(or Setup.exe) to start installation and enter the game.

If the chinese characters of the installed icon can't be shown, please try the following steps to help chinese characters to be displayed properly. Please be noted that these steps will not affect any windows or system files, it will NOT change english window to chinese window, since language support is already bundled in Windows, we only need to enable it. Remarks: If you have already installed the product, please uninstall it by clicking e.g. D:\ is the cdrom drive, D:\Setup\Uninstaller.exe To enable Windows XP/Vista to display Chinese Fonts for chinese characters: Step 1: Go to Windows "Start" button, choose "Control Panel" and then "Regional and Language Option". Step 2: Inside "Regional and Language Option", choose "Languages" tab, click the check box "Install Files for East Asian Languages". Step 3: Choose "Advanced" tab, select Chinese(Hong Kong S.A.R.) in pull down list and then click "OK" button. Step 4: After the computer is rebooted, Chinese fonts can be shown on the desktop.
